POn May 27th, 2019, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) changed its policy surrounding hemp-derived products. Previously, these products were not allowed through TSA security. Now, according to the official regulations website, “Products/medications that contain hemp-derived CBD or are approved by the FDA are legal as long as it is produced within the regulations defined by the law under the Agriculture Improvement Act 2019”. This means that hemp-derived products approved under the Agriculture Improvement Act, or the Farm Bill as it is more commonly known, are allowed through TSA, along with FDA approved products containing CBD.

If the CBD is in liquid form (like a tincture or oil), you must abide by the TSA rules on liquids. That means no more than three ounces in your carry-on bag.
